Our Commitment.

  • What investment services and advice can you provide me?

We provide investment advisory services tailored to retail investors. This includes wealth management options such as discretionary/non-discretionary investment management and hourly consulting. Our process begins with a thorough discussion to understand your financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance. Based on this, we recommend a personalized investment portfolio. Our Investment Committee oversees our investment philosophy and asset mix. We regularly review client portfolios, with additional reviews triggered by significant events or changes in your circumstances. While we primarily manage portfolios on a non-discretionary basis, we may accept discretionary authority on a case-by-case basis with your consent. With non-discretionary management, you approve all transactions, while discretionary management allows us to act without prior consent. Discretionary authority is granted through our advisory agreement. We advise on various securities without imposing a minimum account size.

  • What fees will I pay?

We offer portfolio management services with a single asset-based fee, ranging from .35% to 1.00% annually based on your total assets under management, decreasing as your assets grow. Our fee is billed monthly, typically deducted automatically from your account, with a minimum annual fee of $10,000. Additionally, we provide consulting services for an hourly fee, with a maximum rate of $300 per hour, tailored to the specific work involved and negotiable. We have a financial incentive to encourage increased asset management. Apart from our advisory fees, you'll also incur fees from third parties for services like those provided by recommended managers, custodians, and broker-dealers, including brokerage commissions and transaction fees. We do not receive any portion of these fees. It's important to understand and account for all fees and costs, which can affect your investment returns over time, regardless of market performance.

  • What are your legal obligations to me when acting as my investment adviser? How else does your firm make money and what conflicts of interest do you have?

As your investment adviser, we are obligated to prioritize your best interests over ours, though our revenue model introduces conflicts. Our main conflict arises from asset-based fees; while we recommend actions we believe are best for you, such as managing debt or charitable contributions, our income is tied to the assets under management. We receive revenue solely from advisory fees paid by you. However, we may recommend Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. as custodian due to benefits like research access and technology services, creating another potential conflict. It's important to be aware of these conflicts as they can impact our advice to you. Feel free to inquire further about how these conflicts may influence our recommendations.

  • How do your financial professionals make money?

Our financial professionals receive variable compensation related to the number of clients served and total advisory fees generated.

This creates a financial incentive to solicit and retain clients.

  • Do you or your financial professionals have legal or disciplinary history?

No. Visit Investor.gov/CRS (https://www.investor.gov/CRS) for a free and simple search tool to research our firm and our financial professionals.
